Detection Principle

The YC-782S economic silicon dioxide analyzer is designed and developed based on authoritative certification standards. Under certain acidity, active silicon reacts with ammonium molybdate to form silicon mesh yellow, which is then reduced to silicon molybdenum blue by 1-amino-2-naphthol-4-sulfonic acid. The chromaticity of this blue color is related to the active silicon in water. The absorbance is measured and the silicon dioxide content (mg/L) is directly displayed through microcomputer calculation.
