The ETDR-I distribution network capacitance current tester directly measures the capacitance current of the distribution network from the secondary side of the PT. Compared with traditional testing methods, this fully automatic capacitance current tester does not need to deal with the primary side, so there is no risk of testing. There is no need to take complicated safety measures and wait for lengthy scheduling commands. Simply connect the measurement line to the open triangular end of the PT to measure the capacitance current data.
Due to the injection of weak out of frequency test signals from the PT opening triangle, it will not have any impact on the relay protection and PT itself, and avoids 50Hz power frequency interference signals. At the same time, the output terminal of the tester can withstand 100V AC voltage. If a single-phase ground fault occurs during measurement, it will not damage the PT and tester. Therefore, no special safety measures are needed, making this work safe, simple, fast, and the test results accurate, stable, and reliable.
