
How to choose EA-10000 series models
The EA-10000 series has over 180 different models to meet your various needs. If you need help making a decision, please contact our sales staff, and our engineers will contact you to understand your usage and assist you in making a decision.
Firstly, consider which series is suitable for your application: basic power supply, smart power supply, bidirectional power supply, or electronic load. Please read the following text to understand the differences.
Once you know which series is most suitable for you, you can decide on the required power. This decision will affect which external dimensions can meet your needs: 2U, 3U, 4U, or 6U rack height.
Finally, consider the specific voltage and current levels you require. Please refer to the table at the bottom of this page to select the series that best meets your needs. Our engineers will contact you to discuss various solutions.
PS and PSI models
The focus of PS and PSI models is on output power, rather than absorbing power like load devices. The basic power supply model (PS) not only has true automatic range function, but also adopts 100% silicon carbide design, and provides four different control modes: constant voltage, constant current, constant power or constant resistance. These power supplies can also be connected in parallel with up to 64 instruments, providing more power support for your application scenarios.
The intelligent power supply model (PSI) further expands all the functions of the PS model and integrates an integrated function generator, supporting basic waveform and arbitrary waveform functions. The PSI model is also equipped with special photovoltaic and automotive testing programs for standards such as EN 50530, LV123, LV124, and LV148.


PSB and ELR models
The bidirectional power supply model (PSB) not only includes all the functions of the PSI model, but also adds the ability to absorb electrical energy and feed it back to the local power grid. This design of providing and absorbing electrical energy from the same enclosure can save you valuable space, and the PSB model has an efficiency of over 96% in feeding back energy to the grid, thereby saving electricity and cooling costs. The PSB model is the most flexible solution in the EA-10000 series.
If your needs are limited to absorbing electrical energy rather than supplying it, then the Regenerated Electronic Load (ELR) model would be the ideal choice. The ELR model can capture up to 96% of the current and feed it back to the local power grid, reducing heat, noise, and HVAC costs, thereby saving operating expenses. The ELR model also retains the built-in waveform generator and special test program mode of PSI and PSB models.
Industrial Series
In order to meet the high energy density requirements and the challenges of future applications, we have launched the EA-10000 industrial series. This series provides up to 60 kilowatts of power output with a 6U external size, while the 19 "rack solution only occupies 0.6 meters2It can provide a power output of 300 kilowatts. Up to 13 racks can be combined to achieve bidirectional power transmission and recovery of 3.84MW. This industrial series includes three types: basic power supply (PU), bidirectional power supply (PUB), and regenerative electronic load (EUL).
