According to the GBJ82-85 standard for testing the long-term performance and durability of ordinary concrete; In JTGE30-2005 Test Code for Cement and Cement Concrete in Highway Engineering and SL352-2006 Test Code for Hydraulic Concrete, the elastic modulus of concrete is used to calculate the natural vibration period.
The dynamic elastic modulus is the elastic modulus measured by the dynamic method based on the propagation speed of elastic waves in the rock mass. For general objects, there exists an inherent resonant frequency. Therefore, by measuring its natural frequency, the dynamic elastic modulus of the object can be obtained. Dynamometer is an instrument that uses the above principles to measure the resonance of an object.
Due to the fact that the dynamic modulus of elasticity can be used as a quality indicator to evaluate the durability of an object, and the instrument can measure the elastic modulus of an object without damage, it can be widely used in metallurgy, construction, bridges, hydropower and other fields for measuring the elastic modulus of concrete, carbon, slate, glass, brick, plastic, and metal materials.
