I. Overview

TDZC-UF-E dual rotor flowmeter (hereinafter referred to as flowmeter) is a new type of volumetric flowmeter with unique design and precision machining assembly. A pair of spiral rotors is the only moving body in the measuring chamber, playing a role in dividing, measuring, transporting, and excreting the measured liquid. This model of flowmeter has added positioning gears in its structure, so that the two rotors do not come into contact with each other when rotating. This flowmeter operates smoothly, with low noise, minimal wear, high accuracy, and strong viscosity adaptability, allowing fine particles in the measured liquid to pass through without easily getting stuck. This flowmeter has undergone chemical nickel plating treatment, thus possessing anti-corrosion and wear-resistant properties, and can replace stainless steel flowmeters.

The characteristics of this flowmeter are:

1. Suitable for thin oil, light oil, heavy oil, crude oil with high sand content and high water content, and the viscosity range of the measured liquid is wide.

2. The flow meter passes through a large liquid flow rate, which is about twice that of a regular volumetric gauge with the same diameter.

3. Long service life, high accuracy, and strong reliability.

4. The internal pressure loss is extremely small.

5. Wired remote transmission with a long distance of 1000 meters and a pulse signal output of N=0.1L (one pulse is 1N), which can be directly connected to a computer network.

6. Intrinsic safety explosion-proof EXIa Ⅱ CT4 (intrinsic safety type); IP65 protection.

1working principle

As shown in the figure below, the flowmeter directly measures the volume of liquid flow through a pair of rotating special spiral rotors.

The measurement of fluid flow rate by flowmeter is completed inside the measuring chamber. A pair of spiral rotors rotate under the pressure of the liquid, and the enclosed space (shaded area in the figure) formed between the rotors and the measuring chamber wall discharges 8 times the shaded volume every time it rotates. Therefore, based on this relationship, as long as the number of rotations of the rotor is measured, the cumulative flow rate can be calculated, and the instantaneous flow rate can be measured based on the number of revolutions per second.
