◆scope of application

The HLQ3R-63 dual power automatic transfer switch (hereinafter referred to as the transfer switch) is suitable for dual circuit power supply systems with AC 50Hz or 60Hz, rated working voltage of 400V, and rated working current of 63A and below. Selective conversion between two power sources can be performed as needed. The product has short-circuit, overload, undervoltage, and voltage loss protection functions, as well as backup fire protection, dual opening, and output closing signal functions. Specially suitable for the installation and use of lighting circuits in office buildings, shopping malls, banks, stations, hospitals, and high-rise buildings that require fire safety requirements.

The product complies with GB/T14048.11Standard.

◆Model and meaning

1. The upper limit of the surrounding air temperature shall not exceed+40 ℃, the lower limit shall not exceed -5 ℃, and the average value over 24 hours shall not exceed+35 ℃.

2. The altitude of the installation site shall not exceed 2000m.

3. The relative humidity of the atmosphere does not exceed 50% at a surrounding air temperature of+40 ℃, and can have higher humidity at lower temperatures; When the average minimum temperature of the wettest month is+25 ℃, the maximum relative humidity is 90%, and special measures should be taken to account for the condensation that may occur on the surface of the product due to humidity changes.

5. The operating location has no strong vibrations or impacts, no corrosive or harmful gases that damage insulation, no severe dust, no conductive particles or explosive hazardous substances, and no strong electromagnetic interference.

◆Operation and Installation

Connect the input and output lines, as well as the neutral line, of the commonly used power supply and backup power supply according to the actual needs of the circuit design. Two circuit breakers are connected in parallel at the output terminals, but the phase sequence must be consistent (see wiring diagram).

When the circuit breaker is 3 poles, the neutral wire must be connected to the neutral wire terminal of the transfer switch (in Figure 6.2, the commonly used neutral wire and the spare neutral wire are connected to the 2 # and 4 # terminal respectively).

◆Product Performance

1. The transfer switch is a complete set of two miniature circuit breakers, an electric motor, and a mechanical rotating device, which are detected by a controller for two power sources. When an abnormality occurs in the circuit, the controller makes logical judgments on the detection results and drives the operating mechanism to open or close according to the controller's instructions, thereby ensuring safe and reliable power supply to the load.

10. In general, the transfer switch has a self switching and self restoring function, and the principle of prioritizing commonly used power sources. If a self switching switch that cannot be reset is required for special occasions, the user shall negotiate with the manufacturer to customize it.
