Diamond honing oil stone strip: Diamond honing is a precision machining method that uses diamond honing strips to grind inner holes. Compared with ordinary abrasive honing, it has the advantages of high efficiency, good quality, low labor intensity, and good economic effect. The working principle of diamond honing is the same as ordinary honing. The particle size selection of diamond honing oilstone is mainly determined by the workpiece material, processing efficiency, and smoothness requirements. Currently, the particle size range of domestically produced artificial diamond honing oilstone is 80 #~W5, and the commonly used range is 120 #~W40. During several levels of honing, the particle size should not be too large apart, and it should be ensured that the subsequent process can quickly eliminate the wear marks of the previous process.
The diamond honing oilstone produced by our company uses bronze binder, and the diamond concentration is generally 125%
The micro feed rate is mainly determined by the properties of the workpiece material, the characteristics of the honing oil stone, and the processing conditions. For steel workpieces with poor grindability, the micro feed rate is slower; For non-ferrous metals and cast iron, the micro feed rate can be faster. The contact surface between the honing oil stone and the workpiece is large, so the speed should be slow, otherwise it should be fast. It must be selected based on the actual situation.
The overtravel of the honing oil stone is too large, which should cause a horn mouth; If the overtravel is too small, the workpiece will produce a bulging shape. For a specific workpiece, the amount of overtravel should be determined through testing, generally selected as 1/3 of the oilstone
Cooling is crucial during non feed honing, and currently kerosene is commonly used. There are two cooling methods: single tube direct pouring method and circular flushing method.
