Developer suite for easy IO access

Avantes spectrometers have excellent flexibility and can provide multiple input/output connections. These IOs can be used with Avasoft 8 (time series) or custom applications. DEVKIT aims to make life easier during the development phase. Now, you can easily connect using screw terminals instead of manufacturing or soldering cables with the correct connections.

AVS-DEVKIT-AS (C) 5216 includes a PCB-IO-EXT-BES printed circuit board. The board has multiple screw terminals that can easily connect IO points, BNC connectors for input triggers, and a button for manual control. All outputs have an LED indicating their status (selectable via jumper). In addition, RS232 connectors are also provided. For the ASC version, there are power, USB, and SYNC connectors on the PCB. PCB-IO-EXT-BES will be connected to AvaSpec ULS or AvaSpec UlSi IO connectors through interface cables. Due to the shared IO connection between AS7010 and AS5216 electronic boards, AVS-DEVKIT-AS5216 can also be used in conjunction with AS7010.
