The Demag KB brake motor is equipped with a conical rotor, which is in the braking position when the motor is powered off. When the motor is powered on, the brake is automatically released through the axial movement of the rotor without the need for any additional brake control components. When the motor loses power, the rotor automatically enters the braking state again.

Demag Z-series cylindrical rotor motor

The Demag Z-series cylindrical rotor motor we designed is optimized for integration with the Demag gearbox series. According to IEC electrical standards, the motor is divided into 2, 4, 6 to 8 poles and has a variable pole motor and a dedicated walking motor with embedded inertia wheels to meet special stability requirements. The motor frame size ranges from Z63-Z132, and the casing is made of high-strength die cast aluminum alloy material to ensure high stability while reducing its own weight. The motor frame numbers range from Z160-Z180, and the casing is made of gray cast iron material.
