Driven by unique control principles
The Demag KB brake motor is equipped with a conical rotor, which is in the braking position when the motor is powered off. When the motor is powered on, the brake is automatically released through the axial movement of the rotor without the need for any additional brake control components. When the motor loses power, the rotor automatically enters the braking state again.
application
The Demag KB series conical rotor brake motor has a simple structure and safe and reliable braking. When you require high starting frequency, frequent braking, or need to achieve smooth motor control under normal three-phase power supply, the KB type conical rotor brake motor will be your ideal choice.
Features and advantages
- Can be frequently started within a unit of time
- Strong braking torque
- Not affected by short-term overload
- Brake pads can effectively and quickly dissipate heat, and have a long service life.
- The brake disc can also serve as a motor fan system, reducing the overall length of the motor.
- The brake can automatically open and hold without the need for additional control components.
- There are no additional brake coils, so there is no additional motor temperature rise.
