concept

Belt drying equipment is composed of several independent unit segments. Each unit segment includes a circulating fan, heating device, separate or shared fresh air intake system, and exhaust gas outflow system. The operating parameters of drying medium quantity, temperature, humidity, and exhaust gas circulation can be independently controlled to ensure the reliability of the dryer operation and optimize the operating conditions. The operation of the dryer is flexible, with wet material feeding and drying process carried out in a completely sealed box, providing better working conditions and avoiding the discharge of smoke and dust. Belt drying equipment is a continuous drying device used in batch production, which is used for drying sheet, strip, and granular materials with better breathability. It is particularly suitable for dehydrated vegetables, catalysts, traditional Chinese medicine decoction pieces, and other materials with high moisture content and temperature restrictions; This series of drying equipment has the advantages of fast drying speed, high evaporation intensity, and good product quality. For dehydrated filter cake like paste materials, they need to be granulated or made into strips before drying.

Working principle

The material is evenly spread on the mesh belt through the feeder, and the mesh belt uses 12-60 mesh stainless steel wire mesh. Dragged by the transmission device, it moves inside the drying equipment. The drying equipment consists of several units, with each unit independently circulating hot air. Some of the exhaust gas flows out through a specialized dehumidification fan, and the exhaust gas is controlled by a regulating valve. The hot air passes through the materials laid on the mesh belt from bottom to top or from top to bottom, heating and drying while removing moisture. The mesh belt moves slowly and the running speed can be adjusted according to the temperature of the material. The dried finished product continuously falls into the feeder. The upper and lower loop units can be flexibly equipped according to customer needs, and the number of units can be selected according to demand.

In the upper circulation unit, the air from the circulating fan 5 enters the lower chamber of the unit through the side air duct. The airflow is heated by the heater 7 and distributed by the distributor 6, forming a jet flow that blows towards the mesh belt, passes through the material, and enters the upper chamber. The drying process is a process in which a hot air flow passes through the material layer, completing the transfer of heat and mass. The upper chamber is connected to the inlet of the fan through an air duct. The high part of the gas is circulated, and a portion of the gas with lower temperature and higher humidity is discharged as exhaust gas through the dehumidification pipe, regulating valve, and dehumidification fan. In the lower circulation unit, the air from the circulating fan first enters the upper chamber, is heated by the heat exchanger downwards, passes through the material layer and enters the lower chamber. The lower chamber is connected to the fan through the side air duct and return air duct, and the high part of the gas circulates while the other part flows out. The upper and lower loop units can be flexibly equipped according to customer needs, and the number of units can also be selected according to demand.
Used for dehydrating vegetables, three machines are often connected in series to produce the initial drying section, middle section, and final drying section. In the initial drying stage, due to the high moisture content of the material. Poor breathability, therefore lower paving thickness, faster running speed, and higher drying temperature are used. In the initial drying stage, the temperature of the drying gas can reach over 120oC. The retention time of materials in the final drying stage is 3-6 times that of the initial drying stage, and the paving thickness is 2-4 times that of the initial drying stage. For the requirement of material temperature not exceeding 60oC, dry gas at around 80oC can be used. The use of multi-stage combinations can better utilize the performance of belt drying equipment and achieve more uniform drying.
