product overview
The DL2016 total chromium automatic online analyzer combines advanced sequential injection technology with photometric technology to detect the concentration of total chromium in water after oxidation and digestion. This instrument can achieve real-time, rapid, and accurate analysis of the total chromium content in water, comprehensively reflecting the degree of heavy metal chromium pollution in the water.
Working principle
The instrument adopts automatic control of water sample collection, reaction measurement, data processing, and data transmission to quickly and continuously complete the entire process of total chromium analysis in wastewater. Under high temperature and high pressure, various chromium compounds and undissolved chromium elements in the water sample are oxidized and dissolved into hexavalent chromium ions by excess potassium permanganate. The peristaltic pump switches the reagents and water samples to the colorimetric cell through eight position sequential valves, and after mixing, under acidic conditions, hexavalent chromium ions react with the chromogenic reagent diphenylcarbazide to form a complex, causing the color of the solution to change. The photoelectric colorimetric device measures and records the change in the intensity of the transmitted light after the reaction complex absorbs specific wavelengths of light in the colorimetric cell, obtaining a response with corresponding peak height. By comparing and calculating, the content of hexavalent chromium in the water sample can be determined, Thus obtaining the total chromium content. The sequential injection system is controlled by a programmable logic controller (PLC) to achieve automatic analysis and obtain more accurate detection results.
