product overview
The DL2010 total iron automatic online analyzer combines advanced sequential injection technology with photometric technology to detect the concentration of total iron in water after oxidation and digestion. The instrument can realize real-time, rapid and accurate analysis of total iron content in water, and can be used for online rapid monitoring of total nitrogen at pollution source discharge outlets, and online monitoring of total iron in Rivers and Lakes, waterworks and drinking water sources.
Working principle
The DL2010 total iron online analyzer uses the ortho phenanthroline spectrophotometric method to determine total iron. Under high temperature and pressure, the high valent iron compounds in the water sample are reduced to ferrous ions through hydroxylamine hydrochloride digestion. Under acidic conditions, ferrous ions react with ortho phenanthroline to form a purple red complex. Within a certain concentration range, the absorbance of the system is proportional to the concentration of ferrous ions, and the total iron content in the water sample can be determined by spectrophotometry. The system is controlled by a programmable logic controller (PLC) to achieve automatic analysis and obtain more accurate detection results.
