The DL2008 copper ion automatic online analyzer combines advanced sequential injection technology with spectrophotometry to detect un acidified copper ions and soluble copper compounds in water. This instrument can achieve real-time, rapid, and accurate analysis of copper ion content in water quality, which reflects the degree of heavy metal copper pollution in the water. It can be used for online rapid monitoring of copper ions at the discharge outlets of pollution sources, especially the discharge outlets of sewage treatment facilities in key industries such as electroplating, mining, electronics, batteries, smelting, steel, etc., and can also be used for online monitoring of copper ions in Rivers and Lakes, water plants, and other places.

Working principle

The instrument automatically controls the collection of water samples, reaction measurement, data processing, and data transmission, and quickly and continuously completes the entire process of copper ion analysis in wastewater. The instrument uses sodium diethyldithiocarbamate spectrophotometry to determine the un acidified copper ions in water. The peristaltic pump switches the reagent and water sample to the colorimetric cell through eight position sequential valves, and after static mixing, the water sample reacts with the chromogenic copper reagent under ammonia conditions, generating a complex that changes the color of the solution. The photoelectric colorimetric device measures and records the change in the intensity of the transmitted light after the reaction complex absorbs specific wavelength light in the colorimetric cell, and obtains the response value with corresponding peak height. The content of copper ions in the water sample is calculated by comparison. The sequential injection system is controlled by a programmable logic controller (PLC) to achieve automatic analysis and obtain more accurate detection results. Can be used for the determination of copper ions in sewage, drinking water, source water, and surface water.


Drip excess sodium oxalate back with potassium permanganate solution and calculate the permanganate index value in the sample. The calculation result is expressed in milligrams of oxygen consumed per liter of sample (O)2, mg/L)。
