The cyclone desander is made based on the screening principle of solid particles in the fluid rotating in the desander, integrating cyclone and filtration to achieve sand removal, turbidity reduction, solid-liquid separation, etc. in water treatment. Cyclone sand removers are widely used in industrial sectors such as water source heat pumps, water treatment, food, and medicine. Sand removal from river water and well water, coal washing water, industrial beneficiation, solid-liquid separation, liquid degassing, and separation of immiscible liquids.

Working principle of cyclone sand remover:

The cyclone sand remover uses the principle of centrifugal separation for sand removal. Due to the installation of the inlet pipe at the eccentric position of the cylinder, when water passes through the inlet pipe of the cyclone sand remover, it first forms an inclined downward surrounding fluid along the tangential direction of the cylinder. The water flow rotates downward, and when the water flow reaches a certain part of the cone, it turns upward along the axis of the cylinder, and is discharged through the outlet pipe. Under the action of the fluid inertia centrifugal force and its own gravity, impurities fall into the lower conical slag hopper of the equipment along the wall of the cone. The lower part of the cone is equipped with components to prevent impurities from rising upward. When the accumulated impurities in the slag hopper reach a certain degree, as long as the manual butterfly valve is opened, the impurities can flow out of the cyclone sand remover under the action of the water flow.

The cyclone sand remover is based on the principles of centrifugal settling and density difference. When the water flow enters the equipment tangentially from the sand removal inlet under pressure, it generates strong rotation. Due to the different densities of sand and water, under the combined action of centrifugal force, centripetal force, buoyancy, and fluid drag force, low-density water rises and is discharged from the outlet, while high-density sand particles are discharged from the discharge outlet at the bottom of the equipment, thus achieving the purpose of sand removal.
