Forbes/FULBS intelligent online density meter (also known as online density transmitter) is a device used for continuous online measurement of liquid concentration and density, which can be directly used in industrial production processes. The density meter adopts advanced technology, including a capacitive differential pressure sensor and a pair of pressure relays connected to it and inserted into the production process. There is a temperature sensor between two pressure relays to compensate for temperature changes in the process liquid.

The Forbes/FULBS intelligent online density meter is a two-wire density transmitter mainly used for industrial process control. The online density meter generates a corresponding 4-20mA signal based on the concentration and density, which can be remotely calibrated and monitored through digital communication.

Working principle
The intelligent online density meter is essentially a differential pressure transmitter. Its working principle: The pressure generated by a liquid column at a certain height is proportional to the density of the liquid. Namely, in the equation P=ρ gh:

P - pressure generated by a liquid column at a certain height
ρ - density of the liquid
G - Measurement of ground gravity acceleration
H - height of liquid level

Based on the pressure value measured by the pressure gauge, the density value of the measured liquid can be obtained under the condition that the ground acceleration and the height of the liquid column are known.
