Characteristics of ceramic particle sand:

Ceramic aggregate sand is generally used to replace crushed stones and pebbles in concrete. It is made by sintering various raw materials such as clay, slate, shale, coal gangue, and industrial solid waste through ceramics. It has many advantages such as low density, thermal insulation, excellent impermeability, excellent alkali aggregate reactivity, low water absorption, good frost resistance and durability. Especially, ceramic particle sand has a low density, porous interior, uniform morphology and composition, and a certain strength and robustness, thus possessing multifunctional characteristics such as light weight, corrosion resistance, frost resistance, earthquake resistance, and good insulation.

Application areas of ceramic particle sand:

Ceramsite sand is a substitute for low to medium strength proppants such as natural quartz sand, glass balls, and metal balls, mainly used for downhole support in oil fields to increase oil and gas production. It can also be widely used in building materials, horticulture, food and beverage, refractory insulation materials, chemical industry, petroleum and other sectors, with a wide range of application fields.

Main equipment of ceramic sand production line:

The main equipment for producing ceramic particles mainly includes: raw material storage bin, dust reduction chamber, induced draft fan, main kiln body, coal injection system, control cabinet, etc.
The auxiliary equipment for producing shale ceramic particles includes crushers, screening machines, belt conveyors, feeders, elevators, discharge machines, etc.
The auxiliary equipment for producing fly ash and clay ceramic particles includes: wheel mill, double shaft mixer, granulator, screening machine, feeding belt conveyor, etc.

Process flow of ceramic sand production line:

Raw materials (fly ash+quantitative additives) are mixed and ground, granulated, burned and swollen, stacked, and transported (bagged). It is advisable to use a double tube rotary kiln for the production of fly ash ceramic particles, where the preheating and drying sections of the kiln body can be separately controlled in speed to control the preheating time according to the state of the raw materials. The process is: raw material mixing granulation screening sintering stacking transportation (bagging). Attention should be paid to observation during operation to prevent materials from clumping in the kiln and affecting quality.
