Instructions for using the Erichsen334 centrifugal coating machine from Yilixin:
The Yilixin 334/II centrifugal coating is a desktop instrument that includes a metal box, control panel, sample stage with collection slot and protective cover.
Place the coated sample on the sample table and secure it with 4 screws. Pour a sufficient amount of coating (5-10g) into the center of the sample, and then rotate it at a preset speed for a period of time.
The centrifugal force acting on the coating can evenly spread the coating onto the template. Excess paint will scatter to the edges and flow into the surrounding grooves. The thickness of the coating applied by this method does not change with the distance from the axis, i.e. it is evenly distributed throughout the entire area.
Only in the case of touch sensitive paint, there is uneven coating thickness, with the thickness increasing towards the center.

Purpose and Application:
The 334/II centrifugal coating applicator can apply a uniform coating on samples (ranging in length from 80mm to 200mm) for testing purposes. The advantages of this method are economy (saving time), achieving high accuracy, and having good reproducibility. This device is designed for applications with high requirements for coating thickness or very thin coatings.

Rotation speed and rotation time guidelines:
Because different coatings have different viscosities, densities, solid matter compositions, and flowability, the values given in the table below can only serve as a rough guide basis.

At the end of the preset rotation time, the coating machine will automatically shut down and the sample can be taken out from the sample stage. The sample stage and collection tank can be disassembled for cleaning.
