Disinfection principle of plasma air disinfection machine:
A plasma generator is a special high-voltage positive and negative ion generator. Positive ion generation relies on a serrated positive electrode to continuously produce high-energy, high concentration positive ions. We need to use positive ions to sterilize, and the amount of positive ions required depends on the size of the indoor volume. High concentrations of positive ions surround bacteria and inhalable particulate matter (including PM2.5 haze) in the air, rapidly increasing their saturation charge. The flat positive electrode has a high electrostatic field strength (8 kV high voltage), and charged particles and bacteria will quickly adsorb onto the positive electrode plate, which is filled with positive ions. Bacteria undergo rapid electrolysis under the infiltration of positive ions, leading to the destruction of bacterial electrolytes and cell membranes, resulting in death. The plasma generator can also generate high concentration negative ions through a 15000 kV high-voltage electric field. When positive and negative ions coexist, they undergo charge neutralization, which can effectively kill various bacteria in the air during the neutralization process. At the same time, we also need negative ions, so in the design process, we intentionally designed the concentration of negative ions to be twice that of positive ions, leaving half of the negative ions after neutralization of the positive and negative ion charges. Negative ions are captured by oxygen in the air and become negative oxygen ions. Negative oxygen ions mainly have the effects of sterilization, smoke reduction, dust removal, odor removal, formaldehyde removal, etc., thereby improving air quality. Due to the ability of negative oxygen ions to aggregate various particles, dust, and charges, and to decompose harmful gases, kill bacteria and viruses, eliminate smoke and odors, thus achieving the goal of changing the air structure, purifying and disinfecting indoor air.
