Operation steps of copper corrosion tester

1. On the premise of ensuring the presence of water, turn on the measuring instrument and wait for it to stabilize at 40 ℃;

2. Open the bottom valve B of the test cylinder and inject about 1mL of distilled water into the clean test cylinder, then rotate it to wet the cylinder wall and allow the residual liquid to be discharged from valve B.

3. Use tweezers to clamp the newly polished copper sheet, immediately hang it onto the hook of the cylinder, and place it into the cylinder (keeping the cylinder vertical). Ensure that the bottom edge of the copper sheet is at least 6mm away from the bottom of the cylinder during assembly.

After the instrument is assembled, close valves A and B.

4. Keep the test cylinder in a vertical position to prevent the copper sheet from getting wet with water, and tightly connect the sample source and the A valve of the test cylinder with the connecting hose and its accessories that have been washed clean by the sample.

First, open the valve on the sample source, and then open valve A on the cylinder to allow some samples to enter the cylinder.

5. Close valve A and do not detach the test cylinder from the sample source. Reverse the test cylinder and open valve B to remove the air from the test cylinder, then close valve B. Then turn the test cylinder back to the vertical position,

Open valve B to drain all residual liquid. Immediately close valve B in the vertical position and open valve A to fill the test cylinder with the sample. When the test cylinder is full, close the valve of the sample source and valve A,

9. When there is only a slight pressure in the cylinder, immediately disconnect the device and compare the copper sheet treated with liquefied petroleum gas with the corrosion standard color plate. When comparing, the test piece should be compared with the standard
