Bruker's VERTEX 80 and VERTEX 80v high-end research grade Fourier transform infrared spectrometers have reached the pinnacle of the infrared spectroscopy industry with their outstanding performance, making them the preferred choice for cutting-edge applications in the field.
The latest UltraScanTM patented interferometer
The VERTEX 80 and VERTEX 80v both use the latest truly collimated UltraScanTM patented interferometer, which can achieve extremely high spectral resolution. The high-precision linear pneumatic bearings and ultra-high quality optical mirrors ensure that the instrument achieves the best sensitivity and stability. Vertex is suitable for research work under various extreme conditions, such as high-resolution testing, ultra fast scanning, step scanning, and measurement of UV extended spectral regions. Bruker's unique digital DigiTectTM data acquisition patented technology effectively prevents external signal interference and ensures excellent signal-to-noise ratio.
Desktop vacuum spectrometer
The all cast aluminum optical base and all vacuum optical stage design of VERTEX 80v provide the spectrometer with higher stability. The absorption of water vapor in the atmosphere is eliminated in a vacuum environment, further improving sensitivity and stability. This feature is particularly prominent and significant in the far-infrared and terahertz bands. Combined with the latest fully automatic beam splitter changer (BMS-c), users can switch and expand spectral regions without interrupting the vacuum and through software control.
