Overview
HL-UGS boiler dual color quartz tube level gauge is a disposable instrument that directly displays the liquid level position using optical and connector principles. It can be widely used in medium and low pressure boiler steam drums and reservoirs. According to the display mode, it can be divided into single color and dual color categories: monochrome water level gauge directly displays the natural color of the medium; dual color water level gauge has a green water phase and a red vapor phase, and the red green interface is the liquid level position. At the same time, this type of water level gauge also has the advantages of simple structure, easy maintenance, safety and reliability.
Two structural principles:
The water level gauge consists of an upper valve (steam valve), a lower valve (water valve), a body, a drain valve, a balance pipe, etc. In addition to manual full opening and full closing, the upper and lower valves are equipped with a safety valve seat and a safety ball inside the valve body. When the quartz tube is accidentally damaged, the safety steel ball will push against the safety valve seat at high speed under the impact of high-pressure steam water, automatically closing the upper and lower channels of the valve body until the upper and lower valves are manually closed.
HL-UGS dual color quartz tube level gauge is mainly used for liquid level display on various pressure vessels and industrial steam boilers. It is safer, more reliable, displays clearer, and easier to maintain and repair than the original HY-UGSX dual color quartz tube level gauge. It overcomes the disadvantage of the original product having to have a power supply under weak natural light, and its appearance has been greatly reduced in both volume and weight compared to the original. The overall feel of the instrument is compact and novel. It is a new generation of liquid level matching instrument designed specifically for the boiler industry in the 21st century.
The HL-UGS dual color quartz tube level gauge utilizes light to exhibit different refractive indices and reflection characteristics in different media, and uses a color filter to display the liquid phase in green and the gas phase in red, resulting in a clear gas-liquid interface.

instructions:
1. When using a water level gauge, the valve should be slowly opened to allow liquid to enter, and then the special glass tube should be preheated for 20-30 minutes. After reaching a certain temperature, the valves at both ends can be fully opened to allow water or other media to enter.
2. During use, it is required to regularly discharge pollutants to avoid blockage of channels due to erosion and false water levels.
3. When the quartz tube is accidentally damaged, using the upper and lower handles of the instrument to turn the plugs of the upper and lower plugs 90 degrees can prevent the medium in the container from continuing to flow out. At this time, the damaged parts can be replaced.
Usage and maintenance:
1. The packaged water level gauge can be transported by conventional transportation vehicles, but it should be avoided from severe vibration and direct erosion by rain and snow.
2. The water level gauge should be placed in a dry and ventilated room with a temperature of 0-40 ℃ and a relative humidity of no more than 80%. The outdoor air should not contain any corrosive medium to the instrument.
3. The water level gauge must be installed vertically, with a vertical deviation of less than 3 °.
4. A shut-off valve should be installed between the water level gauge and the container to isolate it from the medium during cleaning and maintenance.
5. According to the condition of the medium, the main body tube should be cleaned regularly to remove debris inside the tube.
