1、 Product Introduction

iBeacon VDB05 is a Bluetooth 5.0 beacon device developed and launched by Shenzhen Weineng Information Technology Co., Ltd. It is based on the Bluetooth 5.0 chip ST17H65,Under default parameter configuration, the battery can be used for 5 years.

The Bluetooth beacon uses BLE low-power Bluetooth broadcasting method to continuously send undirected broadcast packets on channels 37, 38, and 39 using its supported universal attribute configuration file. The broadcast content can be read by the mobile app "95POWER_xbeacon" developed by our R&D team, including UUID, Major, Minor, RSSI and other information. Beacon VDB05 has reserved acceleration sensors and temperature and humidity sensors that can be extended (default not attached).

2、 Battery standby time

The Bluetooth beacon VDB05 is powered by two ER14250 batteries, and the battery life is related to the broadcast parameters of VDB05 (which can be modified through the accompanying mobile app provided by our company),Under default parameter configuration, the standby time can reach 5 years (500ms broadcast interval, 0dBm broadcast power).

4、 Configure iBeacon parameters for mobile app

Shenzhen Weineng Information Technology Co., Ltd. provides a matching parameter configuration mobile app, which can be obtained by consulting and connecting with sales personnel. After installing and opening the app, the phone automatically scans the surrounding Bluetooth beacons, as shown in the figure below.

5、 VDB05 application

(1) IBeacon VDB05 can be used in Bluetooth indoor positioning and navigation systems, as a Bluetooth base station, and also as a material tag;
