● Quiet noise level
Used to mute the speaker when you have no signal. When the mute is turned on, no background noise can be heard; When the mute is turned off, you will hear background noise from the speakers. The mute function can be set to levels 0-9. Level 0 will disable the mute function. The walkie talkie is set to level 3 by default when it leaves the factory.
VOX level (voice control function only works when headphones are plugged in)
The VOX voice control function allows you to transmit without pressing the PTT button. When this function is activated, you can directly start the transmission operation through voice, and the transmission will automatically end after the voice stops.
● Voice prompts
Used to broadcast the channel number you have selected when you rotate the channel encoder. You can choose no voice prompts, Chinese or English voice prompts.
● Launch time limit
To prevent users from occupying a channel for too long. The transmission time limit can be set to 10-300 seconds. If you transmit continuously for more than 300 seconds, the walkie talkie will automatically stop transmitting and emit an alarm sound.
● Launch prompt sound
Used to emit a beep sound to notify the other party at the beginning or end of the launch. By turning on the beep function, the other party can be prompted with either the launch start, launch end, or both (launch start and end).
● Scan
Used to monitor signals programmed on the walkie talkie channel. During scanning, the walkie talkie detects signals on various channels and only stays on the channels with signals. Unplanned channels are not scanned.
● Transmission power
Set the size of the transmission power.
● Bandwidth settings
It has a wide/narrow frequency band selection function, which can be used to select broadband (25kHz) or narrowband (12.5kHz) as needed in the bandwidth settings through the frequency writing software.
● Busy Channel Lock (BCL)
Used to prevent interference from other radio stations using the same channel as the one you have chosen, keep the channel clean and free from interference.
● Analog consonant QT and digital consonant DQT
When the channel you choose is programmed with this feature, you will only be able to hear calls from the same signaling radio station, and all other calls will not be heard.
This feature can block unwanted calls. Although it seems to have its own dedicated channel when using QT/DQT, if other walkie talkies are set to the same frequency or code as yours, the station can still hear your call.
● Battery voltage detection
When the power of the walkie talkie is turned on, the walkie talkie automatically checks the battery voltage. When the voltage drops to about 3.3 volts, the LED indicator light flashes red and an alarm sound is heard, followed by an alarm every 10 seconds. At this time, transmission will not be possible. Please charge or replace the battery in a timely manner to avoid affecting your normal use.
● Monitoring
You can use the MONI key to monitor weak signals that are difficult to hear under normal reception conditions, and adjust the appropriate volume based on the size of the background noise when there is no signal on the channel you have selected. Press and hold the MONI key to turn on the monitoring function, listen for background noise, and release the key to restore the receiving state.
● Lock loss alarm
When the walkie talkie loses lock, the LED indicator light flashes red and emits an alarm sound.
