Classification of German Baode BURKERT solenoid valves
BURKERT solenoid valves can be classified into three main categories based on their principles:
1) BURKERT direct acting solenoid valve:
Principle: When powered on, the BURKERT electromagnetic coil generates electromagnetic force to lift the closing member from the BURKERT valve seat, and the BURKERT valve opens; When the power is cut off, the electromagnetic force of BURKERT disappears, and the spring presses the closing member against the BURKERT valve seat, causing the BURKERT valve to close.
Characteristics of BURKERT solenoid valve: It can work normally under vacuum, negative pressure, and zero pressure, but the diameter generally does not exceed 25mm.
2) Distribution BURKERT direct acting solenoid valve:
Principle: BURKERT solenoid valve is a combination of direct action and pilot operated principle. When there is no pressure difference between the BURKERT inlet and outlet, after being powered on, the BURKERT electromagnetic force directly lifts the BURKERT pilot valve and the BURKERT main valve closing member upward in sequence, and the BURKERT valve opens. When the inlet and outlet of BURKERT reach the starting pressure difference, after being powered on, the BURKERT electromagnetic force BURKERT pilot small valve, the lower chamber pressure of the BURKERT main valve rises, and the upper chamber pressure drops, thereby using the pressure difference to push the BURKERT main valve upwards; When the power is cut off, the BURKERT pilot valve uses spring force or medium pressure to push the closing element downwards, causing the BURKERT valve to close.
Features: BURKERT solenoid valve can also operate under zero pressure difference, vacuum, and high pressure, but it has a high power and must be installed horizontally.
3) BURKERT pilot operated solenoid valve:
Principle: When powered on, the BURKERT electromagnetic force opens the pilot hole, causing the pressure in the upper chamber of the BURKERT to rapidly decrease, creating a high and low pressure difference around the closure. The fluid pressure of the BURKERT pushes the closure to move upward, and the BURKERT valve opens; When the power is cut off, the BURKERT spring force closes the pilot hole, and the BURKERT inlet pressure quickly forms a lower and upper pressure difference around the closing valve through the bypass hole. The fluid pressure pushes the closing valve to move downward and close the BURKERT valve.
Characteristics of BURKERT solenoid valve: The upper limit of fluid pressure range is relatively high, and it can be installed arbitrarily (customized), but it must meet the fluid pressure difference conditions.
