In addition to the refrigerated spectrometer AvaSpec-ULS2048x64TEC-EVO with a low-noise detector, Avantes also offers a more affordable non refrigerated spectrometer AvaSpec-ULS2048x64-EVO. With its standard 2048x64 back illuminated detector, this spectrometer is highly suitable for applications with low sensitivity requirements in the UV and NIR bands. For applications that require an integration time of less than 2 seconds, refrigeration is usually not necessary. This non cooled spectrometer AvaSpec-ULS2048x64-EVO has a high UV response and a 0.9 mm high detector, making it very suitable for application in the DOAS field.
The options include a second-order diffraction filter and an inflation port for deep ultraviolet measurement. AvaSpec-ULS2048x64-EVO has multiple slit sizes and gratings, and can be configured with SMA or FC/PC fiber optic connectors. AvaSpec-ULS2048x64-EVO uses AS-7010 circuit board, providing USB3 (10 times faster than USB2), Gigabit Ethernet, and better signal processing capabilities. By connecting to a PC via USB3 or Ethernet, the data transfer speed can reach 2ms/scan. The instrument comes with AvaSoft Basic software, USB cable, and operation manual.
