AvaLight HAL-S-MIni halogen lamp light source

The working range of AvaLight HAL-S-MIni is visible near-infrared. It is a compact and stable air-cooled halogen light source with SMA connector for focusing, which can achieve high output power at the required wavelength. The output power of the light source can also be adjusted, allowing for a choice between achieving greater output power or longer bulb lifespan.

The AvaLight HAL-S-Mini front panel is equipped with a filter slot that can accommodate 1-inch circular or 2 × 2-inch square filters, which can block light in specific wavelength ranges or reduce output light power.

The adjustable focus function of AvaLight HAL-S-MIni can help users obtain the rated output power of the light source as much as possible: it ensures that all output power of the light source is coupled into the fiber optic cable. Replacing the light bulb is very easy and can be done in just a few minutes.

As an option, a directly installable sample cell holder and attenuator (CUV-ATT-DA-HAL) are also available. If you only want attenuation, you can use an online filter holder (FH-INL) or an online attenuator (ATT-INL). The adjustment of output power can be done through the dongle or spectrometer on the back panel of the light source. In low-power mode, the color temperature of the bulb is 2647K, but it has a longer lifespan. In standard or medium power mode, the color temperature is changed to 2759K, and the bulb life is 4000 hours, resulting in an increase of approximately 30% in power. In high-power mode, it provides a color temperature of 2879K, which is about 70% higher in power compared to the long-life setting with shortened bulb life.

The Avalight-HAL-SMini halogen lamp includes a TTL shutter inside, which can be controlled by the AvaSpec spectrometer. The automatic storage of dark background is achieved through the automatic storage function in AvaSoft software (additional IC-DB26-2 connection is required).
