Used as an emission source for atomic absorption spectrophotometer (host)
Use a current distributor (supplied by me with the lamp) to supply power. Insert the distributor's plug into the socket of the regular lamp on the host, and insert the high-performance lamp into the distributor's socket. Place the lamp into the host lamp socket as usual.
1. Turn the potentiometer to approximately the middle position and select the total current input by the host (approximately 8-15Ma)
2. Adjusting the slit width of the monochromator allows for the use of larger slit widths for high-performance lamps (without decreasing sensitivity or interference from adjacent spectral lines), such as 0.4, 0.6 nm, or even wider.
3. Adjusting wavelength and voltage requires a certain amount of energy (T) for display.
4. The potentiometer on the high distributor allows the instrument to display maximum energy. If the energy is too strong or too weak, the lamp current (total) and gap width can be appropriately increased or decreased.
5. Dual lamp power supply, first turn on the A lamp to adjust the current to a minimum of 4-5mA, gradually increase the auxiliary cathode current, and the intensity rapidly increases until it reaches the maximum value. (If the current exceeds the intensity and decreases, it can be adjusted back) The auxiliary cathode current is about 0.5-2 times that of the main cathode current The sum of auxiliary cathode currents should be greater than 10mA.
