1、 AsphaltRheometersummary:
bitumenRheometerDSR is used to measure the rheological properties (complex shear modulus, phase angle, etc.) of asphalt binder at high temperatures. SHRPdynamic shear rheometerDSR is an essential instrument for determining the linear viscoelasticity properties of aged or unmodified asphalt within the temperature range of 5-85 ℃. When tested according to the AASHTO MP1 method, the asphalt sample is clamped in a circular parallel plate at a specified temperature, and the complex shear modulus and phase angle of the sample are measured by applying a known torque. Two modes of testing can be conducted using the corresponding software: strain control (measuring its stress) and stress control (measuring its strain); AASHTO PP6 temperature scanning test can be conducted. The corresponding software can be used for frequency scanning tests, and a universal system can be used for non SHRP tests for research purposes.
IIDry asphalt testing system:
DSThe R series rheometer provides a traditional asphalt immersion unit and a dry asphalt temperature control attachment. Both temperature control systems comply with SHRP, ASTM, and AASHTO specifications, including 8mm and 25mm parallel plates and sample molds. The dry asphalt system combines an excellent upper heating plate system (UHP) with a unique stepped Peltier plate *. Automatic zero heat flux calibration with an accurate insulation gradient of less than+/-0.1 ℃. This dry asphalt system features a newly designed intelligent temperature control, making it a stepped Peltier system that can directly control the temperature of the upper and lower fixtures simultaneously. Flexible cooling methods include external circulators or new eddy current cooling.
