This method is applicable for determining the mechanical properties of bending failure of hot mix asphalt mixtures at specified temperatures and loading rates. The test temperature and loading rate shall be selected according to relevant regulations and needs. Unless otherwise specified, the test temperature shall be 15 ℃± 0.5 ℃. When evaluating the low-temperature tensile performance of asphalt mixtures, the test temperature should be -10 ℃± 0.5 ℃, and the loading rate should be 50mm/min. When using different test temperatures and loading rates, it should be noted.
This method is applicable to prism beams with a length of 250mm ± 2.0mm, a width of 30mm ± 2.0mm, and a height of 35mm ± 2.0mm, which are cut after being formed by wheel rolling. The span is 200mm ± 0.5mm. If other sizes are used, they should be indicated.
