Attention: The stability test of artificial intraocular lens under illumination must meet the following key conditions, which cannot be performed by ordinary xenon lamp aging test chambers.

Key point one:The spectral irradiance distribution of the light source output of the experimental device should be close to that of the D65 illuminating body at sea level. Therefore, in addition to using xenon lamps with sufficient power, the experimental device should have corresponding infrared and ultraviolet filters.

Key point two:The energy intensity of the irradiated light on each sample should be basically consistent, ≤ 30mW/cm2.

Key point three:A special container should be used, which can transmit irradiation light of 300nm~800nm and can be placed flat or tilted to align the test sample with the light receiving surface.

Key point four:During the irradiation period, the temperature of the salt solution in the transparent container should be controlled at 35 ± 2 ° C℃. Therefore, the experimental device should have a temperature control device, such as a forced air cooling device or a water cooling device.

  • The irradiation beam of the xenon lamp is reflected as quasi parallel light on the parabolic reflector, ensuring that the energy reaching each sample is basically consistent.
  • Equipped with containers that comply with the European Pharmacopoeia and the United States Pharmacopoeia(answer300~800nmThe light band is transparent and chemically inert).
  • The fixture platform can quickly place containers, has good thermal conductivity, and ensures that the solution will not overflow during testing.
