Apollo Hades is a new type of remote head for Apollo underwater LED satellite beacons. The satellite communication is GNSS (GPS+GLONASS+Galileo+Beidou), and with the help of LED flashing, it can track the movement route and speed of underwater instruments. Mainly used in anchor based submersible markers, seabed bases, deep-sea landers, underwater towed vehicles, AUVs, ROVs, and other underwater instruments and systems, it integrates antennas and microcontrollers, aiming to provide PVT data for AUV navigation systems.

Apollo Hades operates at a depth of 7500 meters (with the option of 11000 meters) and is typically powered by an AUV power system or external batteries, resulting in low power consumption. The combination of GNSS and LED ensures that the instrument can provide unparalleled visibility even under the worst conditions.
