1、 Working principle of electric humidifier
An electric humidifier is based on the principle of generating heat through a resistor and converting electrical energy into thermal energy. The electric heating tube is immersed in water and generates heat, causing the water to boil and turn into steam. The SJDR electric humidifier creates a humid environment through three processes:
1. Generating steam: Boiling water through electric heating to produce steam.
2. Control: The generation and supply of steam are controlled by the microcomputer equipped with the humidifier.
3. Spread: The airflow that sends water vapor into an air handler or duct through a steam diffusion device.
The components of these three processes work together as a system to form a complete electric humidifier.

2、 Characteristics:
1. Stable and reliable performance, and can achieve higher humidification control accuracy.
2. The electric heating tube adopts a low-power density design and a special scale inhibition treatment method, greatly extending the service life of the electric heating tube. It is made of stainless steel 316 or above material, which is corrosion-resistant, washable, and has a long service life.
3. The water surface decontamination (foam) device removes the mineral impurities floating on the water surface to remove the surface dirt to the maximum extent. The water tank is equipped with a specially designed solenoid valve, which controls the drainage at regular intervals and can thoroughly remove precipitated minerals and impurities.
4. The maintenance workload is minimal, and the latest technological achievements are used to solve the scaling problem. The scale on the surface of the water tank and electric heating tube keeps falling off due to repeated thermal expansion and contraction.
5. More optimized structural design can be easily inspected and repaired using commonly used tools.
6. Safe circuit design and three-level circuit protection: short circuit, overheating, and leakage protection functions eliminate users' concerns. Anti dry burning design, when the electric heating element is exposed to the water surface, the anti dry burning device starts, cuts off the power, and protects the electric heating element from being burned out.
7. More flexible control: It can achieve switch dual position control, time proportional control, thyristor (SCR) phase shift control, and accept various standard control signals.
8. Equipped with RS485 interface, it can achieve cluster control for user convenience (optional).
9. The keyboard interface displays the current operating status of the machine, making it easy to set and adjust humidity.

3、 Scope of application
This equipment is suitable for use with purification air conditioners, combination air conditioners, and constant temperature and humidity air conditioners. It is suitable for many clean and humid environments such as offices, laboratories, hospitals, archives, museums, printing factories, tobacco factories, pharmaceutical factories, textile factories, electronics factories, computer rooms, and programmable control rooms.

4、 Control method:
1. Switch type control: Upon receiving a signal, it will turn on (off). Without a signal, it will turn off (on), which cannot achieve precise humidity control. Generally, the control accuracy is within ± 5% RH.
2. Time proportional control adopts fuzzy rules for PID regulation based on actual working conditions, automatically adjusts parameters in conjunction with solid-state relays (SSRs), and adjusts power to achieve the energy-saving state of optimal humidity maintenance, with an accuracy of ± 3% RH.
3. Linear proportional control: Using an intelligent control module (SCR) to cut the phase angle output power, the controller accurately calculates the output control signal, so that the power output corresponds linearly with the control signal, and the accuracy depends on the selected sensor.

5、 Composition of SDR series electric humidifier

1. Humidifier controller
The microprocessor installed inside the device controls all the working processes of the humidifier and can be set through a manual controller. The upper and lower limits of humidity required by the environment can be freely set through the operation of the control panel. It can display the current operating status of the device as well as the current and cumulative humidification levels.
2. Water level control
Adopting a highly reliable connected water level detector to monitor water level changes, it is not affected by fluctuations in the liquid level of the electric heating box, and the water level status can be directly observed.
3. Automatic drainage
The drainage cycle and duration can be freely set. When the humidifier stops working, the drainage device will automatically drain the water inside the equipment within the set time to prevent water quality deterioration and bacterial growth.

Note:
1. The shortest distance between the spray bar and the obstacle should be maintained at 2000mm or more, and the longer the distance, the better.
2. The distance between the humidifier spray bar and the humidity control sensing element should be maintained at least 2 meters
3. The spray bar should be installed as much as possible after the heater
4. When using an electric humidifier for direct indoor humidification, a specially designed direct blowing fan should be used to evenly spread the steam indoors.
5. To ensure that steam can diffuse and be effectively absorbed within a short distance, steam rapid diffusers should be used as much as possible to avoid condensation of steam in filters, fans, and ducts due to insufficient absorption distance.

9、 Equipment installation
The installation position of the equipment is based on the principle of easy operation by personnel and convenient maintenance of the equipment. The equipment can be installed by lifting, hanging, or mounting.

10、 Usage conditions
Tap water, softened water, and purified water can be used. There are no special requirements for water quality, and it is recommended to use softened water or purified water.
1. 40 ° C>ambient temperature>4 ° C, humidity ≤ 80% RH.
2. Water and electricity are in place, and the casing is well grounded.
3. If using tap water for continuous humidification, it is recommended to regularly clean the water tank and electric heating tube. (Half a year is one period)
4. When used in conjunction with air conditioning, the circuit should be linked and controlled to avoid accidental humidification.
5. When installing a humidifier in the positive pressure section of an air conditioner, it is recommended to consult with technical personnel from Shengjie Technology Co., Ltd.
6. If the humidifier is not used for a long time, press the drain button to drain the water from the water tank completely.
7. The humidifier casing must be well grounded!
