1、 Overview of Aggregation Reactor
Aggregation reaction is the process of synthesizing polymers from monomers. A polymerization kettle is a container that provides reaction conditions for polymerization reactions. The polymerization kettle is the main equipment for preparing polymer compounds. Generally, it is a vertical cylindrical high-pressure vessel with a jacket for heating or cooling by introducing steam or cold water. The stainless steel polymerizer for lotion polymerization is equipped with a stainless steel horizontal paddle agitator, which is driven by a motor through a transmission device and a reducer. During polymerization, it can be produced intermittently in a single reactor or continuously in series with multiple reactors. The polymerization reactants enter the upper part of the next kettle from the lower part of one kettle. The kettle is equipped with temperature, pressure and other instruments, as well as inlet and outlet ports. For bulk polymerization, there is no agitator installed in the kettle and it is not connected in series. In addition, there are also those that aggregate by flowing at a certain speed into the shallow tray of the rectangular metal box.
2、 Structure composition and characteristics of polymerization kettle
The polymerization kettle consists of a stirring tank body, upper and lower heads, a stirrer, a support, a transmission device, a shaft seal device, etc. It can also be measured according to process requirements.
The polymerization kettle body, polymerization kettle cover, mixer, etc. are made of stainless steel materials.
The polymerization kettle body and the mixing tank cover can be connected by flange sealing or direct welding. The tank body and mixing tank cover of the polymerization kettle can be equipped with process pipe holes for feeding, discharging, observation, emptying, solid feeding, etc. according to process requirements.
The upper part of the polymerization kettle cover is equipped with a transmission device (motor or reducer), which drives the agitator inside the mixing tank to mix and stir by the transmission shaft.
The shaft sealing device can use mechanical seals or packing seals, and there are many types of mechanical seals and packing seals for users to choose from.
The agitator of the polymerization kettle can be configured in various forms such as slurry, anchor, frame, spiral, etc., and can meet different production process requirements. If there are any other requirements, please contact our factory for separate design and production.
