Free Space Acousto-Optic Tunable Filter

Brimrose acousto-optic tunable filter (AOTF) is a solid-state acousto-optic device without moving parts. Its function is as an adjustable transmission filter. It can accurately and quickly adjust the wavelength and intensity of transmission/filtering by varying the RF power.
Brimrose provides standard and custom AOTFs. AOTFs are widely used in numerous optical systems and applications, particularly in industrial and process control near-infrared (NIR) spectroscopy applications.
SPS/SPF PC Controlled AOTF Drivers
SPS and SPF AOTF controllers have high performance and RF frequency generators. They provide fast frequency scanning (up to 16000 λ/sec) using a direct digital synthesizer combined into an independent AC power source. The standard configuration is provided in the laboratory attachment with one, four, or eight RF output channels.
Main features:
• Fully sturdy, solid-state
