The fully automatic water softener uses sodium ion exchange resin to replace calcium and magnesium ions in the raw water, and after flowing out through the equipment, it becomes softened water with low hardness. After the resin adsorbs a certain amount of calcium and magnesium ions, it needs to be regenerated by soaking the resin in saturated salt water to replace the calcium and magnesium ions in the resin, restore the softening exchange capacity of the resin, and discharge the waste liquid. The entire regeneration process includes: backwashing - loosening the resin layer, salt absorption regeneration - exchange reaction, flushing (forward washing) - washing away the calcium and magnesium ions exchanged by the chemical reaction, and water injection - for the next regeneration.

1. High degree of automation

After initial installation and debugging, the fully automatic water softener can achieve continuous water production under automatic conditions by manually adding regenerated salt on a regular basis, saving a lot of manpower and material resources.

2. Large work exchange capacity and low salt consumption

The level of operation of commonly used manual equipment directly affects the exchange capacity and salt consumption indicators of the staff. The fully automatic soft water equipment achieves strict automatic control by avoiding the influence of human factors. Generally, the resin exchange capacity can reach about 1300mol/m3, while the salt consumption can be less than 100g/mol.
