Ultrafiltration（UF）

Ultrafiltration is a process that uses pressure as a driving force to separate impurities from liquids using ultrafiltration membranes with different pore sizes. The development of ultrafiltration technology in ChinaIn the early 1970s, the newly developed CA tubular membrane module was first used in the electrophoretic paint industry and later in the concentration of enzyme preparations. In the early 1980s, research on polysulfone (PS) hollow fiber ultrafiltration modules was successful, and in the early 1990s, polypropylene hollow fiber modules were successfully developed. At present, polysulfone and polypropylene hollow fiber modules are widely used in the water treatment industry. Compared with international products, domestic ultrafiltration membrane components have a single variety, low comprehensive performance in water flux and retention rate, and slow progress in the application of ultrafiltration technology in fields other than water treatment. Ultrafiltration plays an important role in the production of food, beverages, and mineral water. Because ultrafiltration only removes impurities such as suspended solids, colloidal particles, and bacteria from water, while retaining minerals that are beneficial to human health.
