The OS 304plus CTD is a high-quality and high-precision flowline detection instrument for measuring temperature, salinity, and depth. Its small diameter and ultra-low power consumption fully meet the requirements for high-performance temperature, salinity, and depth measurement. The OS 304plus CTD can be easily integrated into third-party systems such as floating profiling, anchor buoy systems, ROVs, AUVs, etc. IDRONAUT is proud to have designed a pressure balanced sensor for the entire ocean depth, which does not require a pumping pump and has low maintenance characteristics. Among them, the most eye-catching is the well-known high-precision "seven platinum ring quartz conductivity sensor" from IDRONAUT manufacturer, which can be directly rinsed in the field without the need for recalibration. In order to ensure long-term underwater work and self flushing, even in biologically active water bodies, there will be no blockage.
The OS 304plus CTD does not require a water pump or any other external equipment, which greatly reduces the power consumption of the instrument itself. 3、 Sampling mode:
1. Continuous: CTD allows users to0.1Hz – 6HzWithin the range, select the sampling rate to continuously collect data until interrupted. Activate and deactivate CTD to obtain measurement data for multiple cycles.
2. Pressure: CTD samples at certain pressure intervals, and multiple profile data can be obtained by starting and closing CTD. This sampling mode is particularly suitable for profile measurement.
3. Timing: CTD samples according to the set sampling frequency and then enters sleep mode within the set time interval. Once the interval time is reached, CTD will be awakened again and repeat sampling. The range of time interval settings is5Seconds to1dayThe sleep state will save battery power, and this sampling mode is often used for long-term monitoring.
4. Condition: When the selected parameter value exceeds the limit value of the configuration parameter, CTD will start sampling at the set sampling frequency until the selected parameter value is below the limit value of the configuration parameter and stop sampling. You can set a certain time interval to monitor the selected parameter values:5Seconds to1day.

Regardless of when CTD operates in "timed, pulsed, or conditional" sampling mode, it can only extend the battery life because within the set sampling time interval, CTD will enter "sleep mode" while saving battery power.
