1. Overview:
Solid phase extraction devices, also known as "solid-phase extractors," first work by utilizing two different agents or solid or semi-solid agents that do not fuse or slightly fuse with each other. In the same separation environment, the different distribution coefficients allow one agent to dissociate into the other, thereby achieving separation and gradual extraction, also known as SPE extraction, compared to traditional extraction methods and protein precipitation methods. Extraction is divided into two forms: liquid-liquid extraction and solid-liquid extraction. The Jinlan series solid-phase extractor, with a high-quality organic glass shell, is widely used in environmental monitoring, universities, medical diagnosis, petrochemicals, health and epidemic prevention research departments for the separation and extraction of various liquid and solid compounds such as biology, biochemistry, cells, and bacterial strains.
2、 Product features:
-B is a quartz glass vacuum chamber with uniform thickness, capable of withstanding high negative pressure above -80Kpa.

The top cover of the vacuum device is made of imported PTFE, which is resistant to strong acid and alkali liquids.

4、 Usage:
The operation varies slightly depending on the different mechanisms of filler retention (whether the filler retains the target compound or impurities).
The operation of a solid-phase extraction instrument generally involves four steps:
1. The filler retains the target compound
Activation - Remove impurities from the small column and create a certain solvent environment.
Sample loading - Dissolve the sample in a certain solvent, transfer it into the column, and keep the components on the column.
Rinse - remove interfering substances to the greatest extent possible.
Elution - Use a small volume of solvent to elute the test substance and collect it.
2. Filler retains impurities
The operation of a solid-phase extraction instrument generally involves three steps:
Activation - Remove impurities from the column and create a certain solvent environment.
Sample loading - Transfer the sample into the column, at which point most of the target compound will flow out with the sample base solution, and impurities will be retained on the column. Therefore, the collection step needs to begin.
Elution - Rinse off the components with a small volume of solvent and collect them, then combine the collected solutions.
This situation is often used to remove pigments in food or pesticide residue analysis.
5、 Attention:
1. Due to the different operating procedures, extraction environments, and backend storage conditions of the equipment, it is recommended to prepare a separate sample for testing before the extraction process begins to verify whether there is contamination in the feed channel.
2. The output pressure value of the vacuum pump should be lower than 0.1Mpa, and the negative pressure should be greater than -0.09Mpa.
3. Before the extraction device starts working, carefully check each channel and vacuum chamber, whether the sealing gasket is flat and free of foreign objects, and whether there is any air leakage that may cause the pressure value to not reach the predetermined pressure value.
4. The equipment should be placed on a workbench or floor that is free of accumulated water, acid and alkali, has a smooth surface, and has a relatively high friction coefficient. Do not place it on heat seals such as air conditioners and fans, as it may worsen aging.
5. If the selected channel is independently controlled, before the experiment begins, determine whether to open it uniformly. If the sample size is small, please close the unused channel and observe whether the pressure value is abnormal.
6. The valve of the gas supply bottle should be slowly activated and rotated from low to high.
